One of the standout features of Green Pastures Café is its commitment to friendly, attentive service. Customers rave about the staff, who work diligently to ensure a memorable dining experience. The café offers a decent variety of dishes, ranging from comforting bacon rolls to refreshing quiches and generous sandwiches. Health-conscious diners will appreciate the array of options, including vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free choices, ensuring everyone can find a dish that delights.

Of particular note is their vegan falafel and hummus wrap, a crowd favorite that balances flavors beautifully. One exquisite combination is paired with the nutritious yellow pea lentil soup, perfect for a light yet satisfying meal. Meanwhile, traditionalists will find joy in their hearty, satisfying sandwiches, like the much-praised chicken sweetcorn mayo. The generous portions evoke feelings of comfort and wholesomeness, even as diners request just a tad more—like the wish for larger falafel wraps!

Nevertheless, the emphasis here is undeniably on the fantastic food, fresh ingredients, and an inviting atmosphere that keeps customers returning time and again. Prices, too, are reasonable for the quality and comfort provided, with many customers feeling they get their money’s worth.

Cafe ambience was bright and airy. It seemed really popular among locals and we had to wait in line on a saturday morning. Service was excellent and homely. Food is basic but had decent variety.

I love this wee café. The staff are always friendly and work really hard to make it the best possible experience. Lots of parking (its part of Westhill Community Church) and the views are stunning. I'd recommend the bacon rolls, quiche or the generous sandwiches but there are often specials on offer and always dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan options. Prices are spot on.

I had the vegan falafel and hummus wrap with a cup of yellow pea lentil soup. My friend had the chicken sweetcorn mayo. Everything was fresh and delicious. I wish they made fresh cooked chips. Otherwise the cafe is beautiful very spacious and clean and the staff are very friendly great parking. We also had two lattes and two mini fruit bowls for our kids. Total cost £23.90. I rarely go out to eat in cafes, so I'm not sure if it's good value for money compared to other cafes. Nevertheless, it was reasonable price in my opinion. I just wish my falafel wrap was a bigger portion

We went here for a spot of lunch. It is a nice wee place, staff were very friendly. The only thing that I would say is I ordered the egg mayo sandwich on white bread, when it came however it was a seeded sub roll. It was still nice though and I would come back here. I've updated to say I was wrong the white roll was seeded as advertised. Updated to 5 stars

Great cafe/lunch spot overlooking Bennachie! The food is fantastic and fresh, and has specials on daily. The prices are read for the quality. There’s a small area in the corner that has a kids play mat with toys etc… Bonus that the cafe is buggy/wheelchair friendly. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. I’d love to see their coffee improve though… it wasn’t quite barista level but the food here is really what makes it!

I have been here many times, had a great time while having a working lunch at Green pastures cafe. Food served hot and the veg soup was delicious. The chef at the desk suggested going along with cheese scone will be good, I really liked it, very tasty food, and enjoyed the sunny afternoon sitting out in the green. I strongly recommend this cafe for lunches / picnics or just to chill out.

Lovely food selection, open Tuesday to Sunday. Always busy so that's a good sign. Reasonable prices too, easy parking.

Lovely fresh scones and bacon rolls. Staff are lovely. Nice lunches too. Prices have shot up. Won't be going as often.
